Set Goals & Budget
Monitor & Adjust
Unfortunately, budgeting is not a one-time event. You will never be able to create the perfect budget the very first time. This means you should continue to track your expenses for at least the next few months to ensure you have a budget you can keep.
Click on the Monitoring Worksheet to print your budget with an Actual Costs column. Make copies of this worksheet so that when you sit down at the end of each month, you can compare how you spent your money with how you were supposed to. If you were right on, fantastic! If you were off, find out what went wrong and make adjustments either in your behavior or your budget. A budget is always a work in process, a fluid document. Things may happen beyond your control and require you to make adjustments. However, keep in mind the principles discussed in this workshop, and stay focused on all your cash management goals.
Am I doing everything I can to improve my cash flow and reduce income taxes? Is my money working as hard as I am? See the Financial Overview Quick Report.
Congratulations, you have now completed the Cash Management Course, the cornerstone to your financial success.
